Evoking the California sound made popular by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Dawes is a rock band that is skyrocketing in artistry and popularity since the release of the 2009 debut album, North Hills. A second full-length album, Nothing is Wrong, followed in 2011, along with a national US tour on a co-bill with Blitzen Trapper. Their signature sound revolves around the infectious melodies, soaring harmonies and jangly guitars heard on such songs as Time Spent In Los Angeles and Little Bit of Everything.
