Rodney Crowell is a Grammy Award winning songwriter, performer and producer whose songs have been covered by artists such as Bob Seger, Johnny Cash, Crystal Gayle and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band among others. He got his first break as rhythm guitarist with Emmylou Harris’ Hot Band in the mid 70s. His greatest commercial success came with his album Diamonds & Dirt which produced five consecutive #1 singles. Crowell continues to release new work to great critical acclaim. His most recent album, Sex and Gasoline was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Contemporary Folk/Americana category. A new album is due in the spring of 2012.
