The Mural Project

For years, campers and counselors have decorated Appel Farm so our guests, as soon as they step onto our grounds, know they are surrounded by creativity and fun! With lots of colorful murals already completed on camp, 2006 marked the start of The Mural Project, and the plan to create 12 new murals in 4 years!

So far, so good! In 2006, we painted the Staff Trailer, the Photo Hallway, and the Hill Bunks. 2007 murals decorated South and Coop Bunks, and the Sports Shed. This summer murals went up on the Pool Shed and the Dining Hall, and plans are already underway for new murals in 2009!

By 2010 , Appel Farm guests will be surrounded by our celebration of creativity, self-expression, imagination, community, and the arts!
