Cori The Rookie Meets the Veteran Albert

Recently, I had the immense pleasure of spending an afternoon with Albert Appel, our camp’s founder. While sitting next to a warm fire in Albert’s studio, as piano music played in the background, I was swept into Albert’s memories and beliefs of Appel Farm. Did you know Albert thinks the campers should have fewer rules? Well, kids don’t get too excited; he also believes they should have more chores! Either way, I now know a ton more about our founder.  Check out below for some of the fun things we talked about to help you get to know the Rookie and the Veteran of Appel Farm!
