A night to remember with two powerful songwriters on one stage! Janis Ian burst onto the scene at age 15 with her controversial saga of interracial love, Society's Child. The worldwide hit At Seventeen, sold over a million copies and earned Ian her first two Grammy Awards.
Tom Paxton’s songbook includes such modern standards as The Last Thing On My Mind, Ramblin’ Boy, Bottle of Wine, Goin’ To The Zoo, Whose Garden Was This? and more. The Story Pirates: Greatest Hits Show
Saturday, November 6, 2010 - 2:00pm
Tickets $8.00

|
While many children’s theater troupes tell stories to children, the Story Pirates believe that every child has a story to tell. This group of professional actors, improv comedians and teaching artists uses stories written by elementary students as source material for outrageous, over-the-top, side-splitting musical plays. At a typical Story Pirates show, story topics run the gamut, from kung-fu ninja babies fighting crime to a world where cats sometimes fly and Tickle Monsters have been known to take over the world. The Story Pirates will include the work penned by our workshop participants in a world premiere that will delight friends and family. (Best suited ages 4 and up). |
