An After School Arts Sampler

Your child can sample five different subjects for two weeks each, and then move to the next exciting arts experience! Classes begin on March 14 and run every Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:30pm until May 16.

Ceramics
Play with clay is the name of the game! You will learn how to build beautiful pinch pots, round up coil pots, and even make monsters out of clay! Build, glaze, fire, and enjoy this "clay-tastic" class!

Sculpture
Build and construct while you learn and play! Learn how to turn household junk into masterpieces of art. All types of 3D media will be explored as you learn how to build your dreams out of anything that is at hand. Nothing is beyond your reach if you use all 3 dimensions!

2D Arts
One dimension may be cool, but two dimensions are twice as nice! Learn all about the fundamentals of 2D art through fun and engaging exercises. Painting, drawing, print-making and more will be explored in this program that is anything but flat!

Intro to Theatre
To be or not to be in this class? There's no question! Of course you want to join your friends in this class that will help bing out the inner ham in you! Learn all about line reading, stage presence, musical theater, and more. Plus learn the theatre games that even the pros enjoy. Ready, set, time to act!

Yoga & Wellness
Learn to center yourself in this class that is the perfect end to a stressful day at school. Calm your mind and relax with some basic breathing exercises and yoga movements that will help relax body and spirit. So find a comfortable place on your mat, stretch out, and enjoy some fun and relaxation.

REGISTRATION

There is a $50.00 fee per student. Class size is limited.
All classes are held at Appel Farm Arts & Music Center.

Registration for SACC students begins February 1.
Non-SACC student registration begins Februray 6, pending availability.
