Lucy Kaplansky began her career in a New York music community that included such artists as Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, John Gorka and others. She carved out a career first and foremost as a vocalist and performer before turning her attention to songwriting. Her latest album is Over The Hills, marking over ten years with her label Red House Records.
