Yesterday an arts student, Today…
During the week of September 11th to 17th, Appel Farm celebrated National Arts in Education Week. “The arts are an essential part of a complete education, no matter if it happens in the home, school, or community. Students of all ages—from kindergarten to college to creative aging programs benefit from artistic learning, innovative thinking, and creativity.” For more info on the National Arts in Education Week!
By celebrating National Arts in Education Week, Appel Farm recognized the impact that the arts have in people’s lives and shared the message through a fun social media campaign called ARTS ED NOW! This campaign helps spread the word about and bring awareness to the importance of arts education in the lives of children. Through arts education children grow to become independent and creative thinkers developing skills in leadership, problem solving and teamwork which are highly sought after skills by our nation’s workforce. Children become active participants in their future and make an impact in communities for years to come.
