Music & Wine Festival 2017 Wineries

Appel Farm is delighted to be working with numerous vineyards and wineries from New Jersey and Pennsylvania including those from the Vintage Atlantic Wine Region, a consortium of six wine trails– the Two Bridges Wine Trail, the Pinelands Reserve Wine Trail, and the Cape May Wine Trail in New Jersey; the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail and the Delaware Beer, Wine and Spirits Trail in Delaware; and the Chesapeake Wine Trail in Maryland.  Please visit the following wineries at the Festival to sample wines from the Delaware Region. (Only those 21 years or older may participate in wine tasting. ID required at the gate.)

 

Auburn Road Vineyard & Winery (Pilesgrove, NJ)

DiMatteo Vineyards (Hammonton, NJ)

Located in a major farming area in the Outer Coastal Plains American Viticultural Area of Southern New Jersey, the soil and climatic conditions of this area produce some of the best wines on the Eastern Seaboard.

 

Monroeville Vineyard & Winery (Monroeville, NJ)

Voted Best of Salem County 2016 for the Best Wine Selection, is a gem only 5 minutes from Appel Farm. The Basile family is a fourth generation winemaker specializing in wines using local peaches, nectarines, strawberries, grapes and more.

 

Paradocx Vineyard (Landenberg, PA)

Nestled among the rolling hills of southern Chester County, Pennsylvania, Paradocx Vineyard combines current technology and handcrafted secrets to create unique wines, made from homegrown grapes, and from those of only selected custom growers.

Penns Woods Winery (Chaddsford, PA)

Located in Chaddsford, PA, Penns Woods Winery is a family-run Pennsylvania Winery. With over 40 years of experience in the wine business, winemaker Gino Razzi, and his daughter Carley Mack, produce award winning wines from Pennsylvania-grown grapes.

Plagido’s Winery (Hammonton, NJ)

Plagido’s Winery prides themselves with being a fourth generation family owned business that treats their customers like part of the family. Step back in time when you visit this winery.

 

Southwind Vineyard & Winery (Millville, NJ)

Currently Cumberland County’s ONLY winery, Southwind serves some sweeter varieties like their famous grade soda style wine, Grape Kiss. Nestled in one hundred acres of woods there are exquisite grounds and trails for walking at their winery.

Wagonhouse Winery (South Harrison Township, NJ)

Twelve years, 18 – 25 wines, and three little boys later, they are still moving forward with all the energy and creativity they started with! The name, by the way, came from the old wagonhouse on the Brown family farm.
