(Elmer, NJ) Appel Farm Arts & Music Center is holding a dynamic and energetic summer concert presented by talented local youth from the South Jersey region on Thursday, July 30th, at 5:30 PM.

Appel Farm Arts & Music Center is hosting The Jersey Surf World Class Drum Corps, a nationally recognized performing arts group of 14-21 year olds from the Camden County area! This non-profit performing group consisting of 150 student musicians and performers has been leading their communities since 1990. Amongst these amazing young performers is Emma Kelly, who was once a camper at the Appel Farm Summer Arts Camp.

Through its annual summer camp and year-round programs, Appel Farm has educated children, between the ages of 7-17, in the arts for over 50 years. Safety, Community, Personal Growth, and Fun have always guided the Center’s work, and these principles continue to ensure that every child experiences a summer that will last a lifetime.

“It is with honor and delight that Appel Farm welcomes Jersey Surf. Our 350 campers and counselors can’t wait to see this upbeat drum corp. They will be dancing the night away!”, exclaims Executive Director, Cori Solomon. The group is a seven-time finalist and seven-time semifinalist at the Drum Corps International Open Class World Championships. The performance is sure to be a blast, and we would love to see everyone there at this special event!

Appel Farm is located at 457 Shirley Road, Elmer, NJ 08318.
