Kerri Sullivan, Director of Arts Education and Outreach, earned a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts with a major in Acting from The University of the Arts and a M.A. in Educational Theatre for Colleges and Communities from New York University. In addition to working at Appel Farm she is on the faculty at Rowan University as an adjunct professor of Theatre and a Clinical Supervisor for the MST program. She is a member of the New Jersey Department of Education writing team for the Model Curriculum Project for Visual and Performing Arts. She was also a member of the Visual and Performing Arts Design Team for the Delaware Department of Education, where she modified the standards and developed the statewide recommended curriculum for theatre. She has also taught and directed drama and theatre at Princeton Junior School and Middletown High School.
