For Kids
Kids can enjoy many wonderful arts programs at Appel Farm Arts & Music Center. From after school art classes geared specifically for kids, such as Arts Lab, to day-long art retreats designed for both parent and child to enjoy together, such as our Girl Scout Retreat Weekends, there is something for kids of all ages (including adults!) at Appel Farm. Check out all that Appel Farm has to offer.

Girl Scouts
Appel Farm is pleased to offer a range of programming designed for Girl Scouts to earn their Visual and Performing Arts Petals, Badges and Journey Awards, while reinforcing the three keys of Girl Scout Leadership: Discover, Connect and Take Action!

CAMP
For more than 50 years, summers at Appel Farm have sparked the imaginations of thousands of young people as they interact with artists from around the world. Our campers, girls and boys ages 7-17 years old, come together for an overnight camp experience they won’t forget!

ARTS LAB
Arts Lab is an after school program for kids, grades K – 5, in the Visual and Performing Arts. For 10 weeks, both in the Fall and the Spring, students can immerse themselves in the arts as they rotate through five 2-week classes of Visual Arts, Music and Theatre.

ARTS IN SCHOOLS
We believe that the arts are basic to education: they transform teaching and learning and have life-long, positive, impacts on students, teachers and communities. To support this belief, Appel Farm offer a wide range of workshops, residencies, field trips, professional development opportunities, and unique curricular partnerships.

Teen Arts Festival
The Teen Arts Festival is a one-day event that brings Salem County teenagers to Appel Farm for peer performances, exhibitions, professional evaluations, and interactive workshops. Students interact with other area teens who share their artistic interests and passions as well as art professionals during assessments and workshops.
