A New After School Program

4th-8th Grade Students

14 Weeks of Classes

4:00-5:30pm at Appel Farm

Each class will be held from 4:00-5:30pm at Appel Farm Arts & Music Campus in Elmer, NJ. Choose one club, or one each day of the week for 14 weeks!

  • Multiple Club Discount: $140 for 1st club, $120 for 2nd, $100 for 3rd, $80 for 4th! Students from any school are welcome to participate in this extensive program, parents must provide their own transportation.

  • Registration fee waived for Creativity CoLaboratory Students.

  • Pay in full when you register, or use discount code 4PAYMENTS to make four equal monthly payments. Payments are due with equal payments at Registration or the first day of the club,  October 15, November 15, and December 15, 2019.

Mondays

STIR: Culinary & Baking Club — An after school club that is seriously tasty! Develop, build upon, and sharpen your culinary and baking skills. Cook a savory dish and bake a sweet treat while learning to be a chef.

Forces of Nature: Eco Club — Get your hands dirty with our gardening and agriculture club. Explore all things nature. Tackle hands-on projects, education, and awareness campaigns to help our school and community become more environmentally responsible. Help advocate for the environment and the importance in that our words must be put into action to make difference. How will you save the Earth today?

High 5 Sports Club — Hop out of your chair and into our sports club. High 5 students will choose and explore exciting sports and games of interest. Our focus is on FUN!

Tuesdays

Trendsetters: Costume & Fashion Design — Learn to think creatively and turn a fashion idea into a finished garment, while learning new practical skills. Students celebrate their new creations on the runway!!!

Top of the Table Gaming Club — Calling all gamers…Do you enjoy Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, chess, and other strategy games. Have an entertaining time without having an electronic device in your hands. Enjoy some friendly competition in our relaxed and stress-free atmosphere.

“Break a Leg” Musical Theatre Club — Play a character, learn essential acting skills, and explore the world of musical theatre through our collaborative and non-competitive theatre club. We believe that everyone has the potential to be an amazing, unique performer.

Wednesdays

Focused: Photography Club — Get focused! Start by learning how cameras work and how to load film. Study composition, subject, and lighting, and shoot photos using new knowledge of f-stops and shutter speed. Develop film and make prints in one of two darkrooms on campus.

<CODING_ROBOTICS_CLUB> — This fun and high-tech club seamlessly blends art and technology exposing
coders to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math while developing 21st-century learning and innovation skills. Coders will practice collaboration, critical thinking, and communication in a creative way.

Geared Up: Young Entrepreneurs Club — Launch a company with a group of friends. Geared Up will work
collaboratively to pick a product or service, create a business name and logo, conduct market research, write
business plans, pitch to a panel of investors, and sell the product or service.

Hands Up Theatre Club — Do you love theatre? Have you ever wanted to learn American Sign Language? This club encourages deaf children to learn more about the arts and for hearing children to learn ASL all while creating performances for the deaf and hearing to enjoy together. (Wednesdays & Thursdays)

Thursdays

SUPER HAPPY Comics & Anime ULTRA Club — Pokemon, Studio Ghibli, and Naruto are just touching the surface of Anime. Join and learn the skills to become a comic/anime artist. Discover how to incorporate the style and characteristics of anime into your own drawings.

Band — Play music with an ensemble. Our ensemble will explore classical, jazz, rock, and pop music, as well as music from any genre in which this group has an interest!

Hands Up Theatre Club — Do you love theatre? Have you ever wanted to learn American Sign Language? This club encourages deaf children to learn more about the arts and for hearing children to learn ASL all while creating performances for the deaf and hearing to enjoy together. (Wednesdays & Thursdays)

Arts Lab for younger students!

Arts Lab for K-3rd graders is on Mondays at 4:30-5:30pm, from September 16-November 18, for a 10-week introduction to STEAM Labs! Classes include Ceramics, Comics & Drawing, and Musical Theatre!

Arts Lab immerses K–3rd graders in Visual Arts for 10 weeks of transformative arts and learning! Students rotate through all three 3-week classes. Arts Lab kids develop their artistic skills, learn to express themselves, and have fun! It’s a creative, enriching, and affordable alternative to traditional after-school care.
