Appel Farm is bringing year-long artist residencies to five schools as part of Bridgeton Public Schools’ Pathways 21st Century Community Learning Centers. Through their interaction with professional artists, students are given an unparalleled, and truly transformative, experience in the visual and performing arts.
Pathways 21st Century Community Learning Centers are an after school program designed around achieving milestone improvements in math and language arts objectives through theme-based learning in the visual and performing arts. Across five district schools in grades four through eight, this after school program provides services to students and their families throughout the year. Students are motivated and challenged to connect with the world around them through creativity, individual expression and hands on academics. For more information, click here.
